Mary Livingston is a lifelong musician, having learned multiple instruments, played in bands throughout high school and at Macalester College where she earned her BA in K-12 Music Education. She has been the accompanist and directed several community choirs: Golden Melody Makers, South St. Paul Choralettes and several residential and community choirs. Upon retiring from Saint Paul Parks and Recreation after 35 years, Mary now devotes her time to music. She is a Certified Music Practioner as well as a community musician: leading, teaching and performing. We are most pleased to have discovered Mary!
Glenda Reid was born and raised in a rural farming
community in Sacred Heart, MN. She is married to her
husband Tom of 53 years. They have identical twin
boys. She graduated from nursing school in 1974 as
LPN. Her nursing career has taken her from clinic work,
private duty, pediatrics, as well as homecare/hospice
She retired from Walker Place ( Walker Methodist) in
2018 after 17 years working as Resident Services
Coordinator/LPN. While at Walker Place she was part
of the chapel ministries where she served as chapel
musician. Since retiring she has continued to provide
foot care to seniors out in the community.
Her passion is performing her “Glenda Reid Show”
throughout the metro area for a wide variety of venues.
In 2019 she joined the North Suburban Chorus where
she continues her love of singing and socialization.
In January of 2025 she became the coordinator of the
NSC which will be both challenging and rewarding.

As a retired instructor of English to Speakers of Other Languages, Bette Dean now enjoys her other vocation, playing piano and music in general. She's been with the chorus for 10 years. She lives in Arden Hills with Gordie, her husband of 51 wonderful years.
