Mary Livingston is a lifelong musician, having learned multiple instruments, played in bands throughout high school and at Macalester College where she earned her BA in K-12 Music Education. She has been the accompanist and directed several community choirs: Golden Melody Makers, South St. Paul Choralettes and several residential and community choirs.  Upon retiring from Saint Paul Parks and Recreation after 35 years, Mary now devotes her time to music.  She is a Certified Music Practioner as well as a community musician: leading, teaching and performing. Bette Dean -

Accompanist

I was born, raised, and lived in St Paul for my first 59 years except for my years in the Coast Guard and a few years in New York State. I live in Roseville with my wife Fae of 48 years.  We have a son and daughter who have kept us busy through the years.

I joined the North Suburban Chorus with Fae in January 2018. I became the Coordinator of the Chorus in 2019 with the primary task of scheduling performances.   I keep the members informed of the monthly schedule, assist in writing grant proposals and the final reports to the foundations that award us a grant, and assist other staff members in distributing information to all Chorus members.

I keep busy outside of the Chorus with house maintenance, gardening, and yard work both at home and at the community garden at our church, and trying to stay healthy with biking, walking/running, and the health club.  I enjoy kayaking and fishing.  We attend plays and musical performances and socialize with our friends and families.
